Bargain SH4... Need Bluescreen help tho :-(
 

Hi guys

Signing in as a battle weary Kaulien from SH3 (GWX2)
Have problems loading "Saved Missions" there

I managed to grab a copy of SH4 in the bargain "2 for £15" shelf in local "Game"

Installed ....NO problem

Then the fun begins.....

Launched "Update Launcher"... downloaded whatever it was and run it

Now I find myself on 50/50 chance whether game will load
Run the "Game Check" on this site which returned "Above Recomendations" on every count "Enjoy your experience blah, blah..."

I'm getting

"IRLQ not less or equal"
"Nv4"
"Kernel Data ???????"

Have recently upgraded my G/card from Nv6200Turbo to Nv8600GT (all drivers removed /installed)
Recently upgraded RAM from 1GB(2x 512MB) to 3GB(original + 2x 1GB) prepared to remove original and replace with another 1GB stick to ensure same Manufacturer/speed/type etc
Recent:Thermaltake 450W PSU
Pentium 4 3.06 GHz
Windows XP

Is it faulty RAM.....G/card.........Overheating......

Seems to affect most games in my PC :down:

Help appreciated....can relay any extra info required

If you're getting BSODs with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, then it sounds like a memory issue to me. I would try running the computer without the old 512 sticks and see what happens. Maybe they aren't playing nice with the new sticks.
