Question: Is there a mod for GWX 2.0 . . .

Is there a mod for GWX 2.0 that will turn the gray map icons back into the color that will identify them as either friend, foe, or neutral?

I'm finding that I have to get within 700 meters or so to absolutely identify which side a ship is on. I don't believe that any member of the watch on a U-Boat had to get that close to be sure about what side a boat was on.

Thanks, I like the mod, its nice to have the icons on the map looking more like the ones I saw in SH4 (I played that one first), but what I really wanted was a mod that would make those gray ship Icons back into a color Icon the way they are in Stock SH3

Anyone out there that can help me change this? I want the Gray Icons (as set in GWX 2.0) to go back to the stock color in SH3.

Anyone that can help me identify how to do this?

Rule #1 for installing mods: always make a backup file of everything you are going to change, right up to and including a stock+1.4b patch of the whole Data folder.

Since I always do this I am in a position to send you a copy of the original files, but first someone will have to tell me exactly which ones those are.

I use a mod that removes all icons, so the map is empty until I ID a ship, and then it appears, so to me even the gray icons give too much information.

I use JGSME. Covers the need to make backups. The problem is, GWX 2.0 is a self installing mod (actually, at this point it would be more accurate to call it a full blown expansion of the game) and unlike most mods I use, I can't seem to figure out how to look at the individual components of the mod so I can pick it apart.

I think the files are located

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Menu\Gui\Units

Don't hold me to it.

hehe, yeah, we did. This was my first post, didn't get a response soon enough so I started considering other places to post that might get the attention I needed. Turned out I was right :D.
