Help with scene.dat Tweak file for MiniTweaker...

Hi all !

I remeber i was using a tweak file wich contains a line called "Horizon", i remeber when i was sharing job with Leovampire, he was using a higher value than me... i was using 1000 and he was testung with 2000 and 1500.

Later i changed my computer for a new one, i made a format of my hard drive... i have back up of 3 diferent tweker files... but no one has the line "Horizon= XXXX"

My file is lost...

I was using an ATI card, now i have a nVidia, and the game looks diferent, i think so i need to touch this value, i have a small strip on the horizon...

Do somebody have this file to share ? Please ?

Thanks in advance.

MiniTweaker is an antique. Do yourself a favor and download S3D.

Scene.dat tweak file.

Here's the one I compiled for Leovampire last year. Mav87th actually made the extra horizon line, with RobieRob's water fog.

That said Redwine, you should follow Luke's advice and get some practice with S3D. Once you have got a handle on it, you will never use mini-tweak files again ;)

Personnaly, i find S3D easier to use then TT's tweaker.

I can fully understand anyones reluctance to change mod tools. You tend to work with what your most comfortable with, proven, and known to be reliable.

But.. seriously, i defy anyone to do some of the stuff ive been making for TM with TT's tweaker, it simply isn't possible!

Sounds just like the tool I should be using now...courtesy of various strikes, Greece has been plunged to the Dark Ages: trash has been piling on the streets for over 2 weeks now, and we're plagued by repeated blackouts as well. :damn:
Back on topic, I do realize that MiniTweaker was a great tool in its era, and for that we should all be thankful to its creator. But that era is long gone, now.

lol, I was only joking (silently referencing to S3D) :know:

DrBeast, when I was at Crete a few years ago, during the summer, we had blackouts 3 or 4 times in 13 days, but that was due to excessive heat I suppose. But oh well, I had my sixpack and lady with me :ping:

Great man !!!! :up::up::up:

Many thanks... that horizon line value is very important.

S3D is an amazing program, the problem is if you use this program... it modify the files and you can not use MiniTweaker on this file anymore... and i am accostumed to use minitweaker.

For one, you can always back up your files...

Secondly, we all were accustomed to using MiniTweaker, but by and large just about every modder has moved on to S3D. Again, do yourself a favor and learn how to use it. S3D is a far, far, far, far better and more efficient program than MiniTweaker.

Hi LukeFF ... It is uselles... you can have accumulative modifications switching between programs. When you use S3D, you are enforced to continue to use it.

I had used it to eliminate the bathtube bug, on AAA machines, it is a great program , but i do not like the "re-order" it make on the files with avoid the use of MiniTweaker in the future on this file.
