The US dollar continues to slide...
...and it's certainly not sliding into my wallet either. :nope:
I guess European goods and workers just got a lot more expensive. There are some negatives to a weak dollar (like my gas is going to go up for one), but the positives outweigh all the negatives - hence why China keeps its currency artificially low - it makes it cheap to manufacture in China, even with the long shipping times. Our weak dollar will stop any jobs from leaving the US and it will make buying American all that much better and cheaper.
So I guess you can call this a catch 22 situation. If you live in America, I hope you like American products better than European ones. Not much else to say. -S |
I'm not complaining too much. It'll make my trip to Houston cheaper in October.:D
And my college term a bit less painful
As I have a few US debts I am still paying off this is good news indeed.

Supposed to visit family in the UK around September/October. It's not looking too good right now. I hope we don't have to cancel.
