AOB 150 degrees marked in red

Playing with the Tm mod.

During manual targeting, the AOB setting dial has both the port and starboard figures 15 (representing 150 degrees) in red.

Any idea why these two numbers only are in red?

Is that the critical angle of the Head dumping pipes? (ewwwww) ;)

Nooblet minds need to know

Maximum gyro angle of the torpedoes.

So why would it show up red on the target AOB wheel?

I always wondered what that was. My initial guess was baffles, but maybe doctrine dictated that you didn't shoot at a target that had an AoB between 150 and 210?

Agreed AoB has no influence on max gyro angle of torpedoes (which I believe is 135 Degrees)

I am still thinkin that is where the Poo chute is from the heads. Imagine getting THAT on your periscope.

"Seaman, grab this rag and go topside"

Maybe I will look this up in the excellently written and exhaustive SH4 game manual:rotfl:
