Looking for Big Targets in Early 1940
 

hey so im playing GWX2.0 and its early 1940 and i still have my VIIB. Im looking for some nice targets, like battleships, Aircraft Carriers, Crusiers.
When i played GWX before 2.0 i sank a whole bunch of big ships, But now ive only sank 6 Aux. Crusiers. I know that Dunkirk is right around the corner and soo is Narvik but im looking for a BB or a Carrier before. Thanks for the help

Look for task force contact reports. Estimate their course. Intercept. If I remember right, in the early war there's a task force that comes down from Loch Ewe to Gibraltar. I passes just east of Rockall, on a SSE course towards gibraltar. A good way to catch it is to hang around at the mouth of gibraltar. There's a ton of stuff that gets squeezed through the strait. It's a good place to bag a BB.

Yeah i ran into that Task Force before, it was pretty easy, i believe only 2-3 DDs and the Hood and the Revenge. Took them all out. It was sailing west of Lisbon a good 2 or 3 full grids out. I even think it was going slow, not to fast.

Im currently looking for that task force again in GWX2.0 but havent found anything good just a few small merchants usually French or British and a couple of Armed Trawlers, but no BBs
