California Appellate Ruling Against Homeschooling

Ok...a family who is in trouble for spanking their kids has the childs state based lawyer appeal to the courts that the children attend public school. Well, this rulling will have implications on all homeschooling families as it requires them to have teaching certificates.

No big deal.
If they are good teachers then they should have no trouble getting a teaching qualification.

The big deal is the ruling states that an American parent has no constitutional right to homeschool their child.

As a professional teacher i am here to tell you that a state qualification is no indication of how good a teacher is.

Now there are good parents and bad parents but a parent is by definition a teacher of their children.

It's the communist state of Kalifornia? What do you expect? Nothing that happens there surprises me. Hopefully we can annex this state from the Union. I mean, they have the 7th largest economy of every country in the entire world in that state - more than most of Europe, yet they are pretty much bankrupt. Its like watching a good TV show. Its full of drama. :D
