Well, considering that Bill owns about 2 Billion stocks in MS, A simple change of $2 in Microsoft stock price would reverse that. Isn't that sick? Its hard to fathom that such a small change in MS stock could make your wealth fluctuate so wildly.

Actually, Buffet and Gates are good friends. Gates is on the board of directors of Berkshire Hathaway, the company mostly responsible for Buffet's recent profits.

Buffet recently gave 30 billion to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation charity.

"In June 2006, Warren Buffett gave approximately 10 million Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (worth approximately USD 30.7 billion as of June 23 2006; making it the largest charitable donation in history. The foundation will receive 5% of the total donation on an annualized basis each July, beginning in 2006."

No - its 2 billion stocks worth who know what they are worth today. So if the price goes up even $1, he nets $2 billion each time that happens.

I bet Buffett got all of his investment tips from this guy

Cramer does get worked up about investing. I don't watch his show but I do enjoy it when he has the odd spot on the news etc.

If you want to put it into perspective, unless our net worth is in the 7 digit range, we 'all' aren't far off.

These days, you can work at McDonalds and still retire a millionaire if you are smart with your money, so being worth 7 digits is not all that big a deal and easily obtainable. Being worth 8 digits however is a little more respectable.

So for the future, in my book you are broke unless you come packing $10 Mil or more.
