if so, whats your verdict ?

its about 2.1/2 hrs long in colour and b/w - an american issue, so region 1, i'm region 2, but thats not a prob.

I have it....and at the right price it's well worth the purchase.

It does however contain IMO a lot of propaganda/ played out for the public material http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...ies/pirate.gif

Yes, I have it and it is well worth owning. No longer avaialble new. I was lucky enough to buy mine for around $23. There are presently 2 listed on Amazon for $92 up. Buy it, if you can find one in your budget.

cheers all !

i'm guessing there is a limited supply of whats on offer - in terms of it being good quality/unseen/new and not recycled as a new title.

i have quite a few dvd's on this subject and have been lucky enough not to see the footage recycled - granted, occasionally, there is a shot of the boat diving or surfacing, some crew shots of Topp and others.

i saw this title the other day on Amazon - so if its ok i'll recycle my question....

its a 3dvd box set - any thoughts....?

I have it also....a nice addition for any U boat aficionado...

Checking Amazon listings, it appears to be a 3 DVD box set of previously realesed DVD's titled: Grey Wolves: U-boats 1939 - 1941, Grey Wolves: U-boats 1942 - 1943, and Grey Wolves: U-boats 1943 - 1945. These were also produced by Arts Magic. The individual discs sell for $12.99 and the box set sells for $26.99 so it would be a better buy if you want all three discs.

hi hunters

thanks for checking that out - i have the 3 seperate ones from 39 45, so it seems they have just repackaged the deal into 3dvd box set and shunted it out again - sounds a bit rip-off to me....?

AdlerGrosmann, i think its out - and von Zelda has the best idea.
