co2 bug?
I have the uboat missions expansion and after a while on my patrol, i surface my uboat from periscope depth and there is no one on watch. I've checked my crew and they are fine, but they dont start watch. Then after a while my co2 levels skyrocket and I end up dying.
I play on full realism, but I know that when you surface the boat it replenishes oxygen so the co2 levels go back down to minimal...however this isn't happening. Anyone run into this? Edit: I just ran out of oxygen completely, and my officer says "We are out of oxygen..we must surface sir!"... Ironic but I am already surfaced. |
I'm running into this too. Running an American campaign with TMO.
Anyone else? |
Ive been keeping my eye on this on ubi and subsim, and i believe this is a "stock" issue with version 1.5.
edit: For example, this post was made http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...5/m/8721047836 2 days ago. TMO came out last night, so its a safe bet its a stock issue. edit: I have to wonder, if anyone whos run into this bug, has been loading a game that was saved while submerged? Maybe a workaround is to always save while surfaced? Just guessing. |

yeah i know. usually the first inclination (and rightfully so) is to look with a scrutinizing eye at any mod that was running.

I'm getting this bug too. My only solution so far was to save while on the surface and then reload - this cured the CO2 problem and brought my lookouts back on deck.

same here, save on surface and reload sorted it
but i can say with 100% certainty that I never saved my game submerged, so that's not it (unless the boat was just dipping below 19 feet into some wave at the very moment I saved the game) |
This happened to me when I first got 1.5. The only way I could cure it was to save, exit to Main Menu and re-enter the game. Merely saving and re-entering wasn't good enuf. Bug seems to have fixed itself--hasn't done it now for a long time. It will probably do it the next time I play since I said that.:D
