New idea for Subsim meeting
 

What do you guys think about having a movie-o-thon at night? Or will we be too busy playing SHx and DW to bother with watching anything. I have a lot of good navy (war movies) at home, it would be my contribution to the event.:hmm:

Just think... we could make fun of U-571 all night, like MST3K.

I voted any naval themed movie would be great just to keep it on subject. But, really, any war movie would work.

Does Neal have a ub3r theather system in his house?

Besides being totally outlandish in it's story telling and dumb some parts, I did enjoy the movie.

The Uncut version of Das Boot. At almost 5 hours it's a marathon all by itself.

Perhaps someone at the meeting could set up a live web cam for viewers all over the world to drop in and say Hi ...

When I get around to it, I'll make a list of the movies I have.

I'd say 1942 (or earlier) movie would be a good choice. Not necessarily war movie, but something that perhaps was shown in the Cavalla during war times?
