Amen to that, I discovered this sim the day I found this great mod and found that it's creator had passed. I'm only sorry I could not thank him for his great work, I use ROW combined with every mod I use for this sim.

You meet him every time you sail...we all do. :D

Dave's not gone...he's on "eternal partrol"... with all the other immortal captains. :yep:

He sure did, his work and creativity is what got me interested in modding.

It makes it easier knowing Dave is not in pain anymore, and that he has gone to a better place. In time you will know more about him, Kriller2 was one of the guys who worked alot with Dave; he is continuing Dave's work.

Yes, I came here after he left us, and the first thing I had to have was his were his updates. Great stuff, work of somebody who knew what he was dealing with.:yep:

Man you got that right, this is the one forum out of literally hundreads I have been into for various games and sims over the years where there is literally no infighting amongst any the members.

There's many different modders with different kinds of mods out there for this sim, and some people prefer them, others opt for another mod that may be available. I noticed the modders each look at the others work and say "Hey, that's a pretty neat idea, mind if I incorporate that into my mod?" Or they start collaborating together to make a better mod. The community evolves, working together to make even more improvements to this sim.

I thank you all for your work on this sim, it gives me so much enjoyment to play it on the weekends. I work midnight shift in a mine, and I now have this sim to look forward to on the weekends to unwind with a little. :D

SUBSIM and SH4 were a driving force in his life, he once told me that it gave him a renewed sense of purpose working on ROW and other stuff. He also had a great sense of humor and would help anybody that asked :yep::up: He was a gem of a lad and is missed.

However he will never be forgotten.
