Why i cant see Harbor/Dock maps.
 

Hi all. I a big fan of SH3 used to watch my friend play it on his PC, I installed it in mine but i have noticed that in the beginning flotilla (Wilhelmshaven) even if i zoomed my mouse roller to max, the map for the harbor doesnt show up.

I have watched and played with my friend hundred of times before, and i always see that harbor/ports are visible on the map.

Why cant i see it? Is it a mod?

If I recall correctly the harbour maps showing the waterfront layout came with one of the patch releases. Make sure you're patched up to the latest version.

Thanks, will check. i just installed, uninstal, reinstalling (right now) SH3, i got the 1.4 patch and will install the Mideteranean later. Hope it works, i can maeuver the sub thru the Docks but it really eats time.

Not working :damn:. still cant see harbor map, I have laready installed patch 1.4b and installed the Battle of mideterranean expansion, i still cant see the dock maps :damn::damn::damn:

Hmm, how strange. As Torplexed said, you couldn't see them stock and it got fixed with one of the patches following player complaints. Maybe it's the Med maps. Try zooming in on some European ports.

Actually, i have this very odd situation here, I can see the maps of some ports and i cant see other. Unfortunately, im playing campaign and just started... guess what, its night time :lol::lol::lol:

How the hell can i go out of Wilhelmshaven without the map LoL... :damn::damn:

I have two completely different answers:

1) Isn't it all lit up? I can sail out manually with no problem.

2) Wilhelmshaven is one of the ports not showing up? There's definitely something wrong!:damn:

The Battle Of The Med expansion is just that
The med
IIRC presumes you will be starting in the med not in a German home port

Upload the Location.cfg from the BOTM ( C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Terrain ) to mediafire and PM me the link
