For those of you wondering what Ducimus has been doing here is the changelog for his new Beta_TM available from the Ubi forums as listed By SteveW1:-

PS looks like he's had a real bad case of the condition known as C.T.D..:rotfl::rotfl:
quote:

//submarine changes.

- AI visual speed factor from 25 to 8

// submarine interior changes.

- Minekaze is now a DE

- Removed all previous "auxillary subchaser" or any ship that was previously modified to be a corvette class.

- Fixed the armed tugboat so it no longer CTD's when used as an escort and set it as the new (and only) corvette class.

//sound changes

- changed perisocope updown sound.

- made torpedo tube door sound audible.

- changed menu background music.

NOTE: For some changes to be applied (such as crew placement), you may have to start a new career game.

I'd say go donwload it and test it for the guy and leave him the feedback he needs.
good luck Ducimus, Just be aware the download is around 280MB and this uncompresses to about 900MB and its on FileFront.

Using it with a saved career. Started TM in port. Two missions later still no problems.

DavyJonesFootlocker 02-18-08 11:41 AM

TM BETA

:up: Hi steveW1 JUST DL tm beta will try it out , will post any problems. i also sent duci a post at ubisoft

lurker_hlb3 02-18-08 06:01 PM

All RSRDC users please note the following

WARNING

Do not use RSRDC with Trigger Maru Overhaul (BETA), my code review noted that v320 plus Patch3 will "NOT" run correctly. Will create a new version of RSRDC after TMO is out of Beta testing.

AlmightyTallest 02-18-08 08:35 PM

Dang, thanks for the heads up lurker, was planning on getting this and trying with RSRD Patch 3.

Does this latest TM include all of the Row special effects and combine the three patches that origionally came with TM 1.7.6 just all rolled into one giant install?

That is basic correct

M. Sarsfield 02-19-08 11:02 AM

Ducimus orignally split them into 3 files so people could pick and choose the mods that they wanted. I guess that he decided that it was easier to just keep it as one file.

DavyJonesFootlocker 02-19-08 11:51 AM

Is there another link to download the file? FileFront is off limits to me here.

dean_acheson 02-21-08 10:36 AM

lurker, is this going to get out of 'beta' phase?

why don't they jive?

i can't live without rsrd.

dean_acheson 02-21-08 02:18 PM

No?

I'm running both now, with TM and then RSRD and the patch installed.

I'm on the Wahoo, outside Midway on June 1, 1942, guess we will see in a second if there are any problems....

As I said earlier don't use the current version of RSRDC with TMO (Beta). :damn:If it starts CTD-ing don't come looking for me to fix it.:down:

dean_acheson 02-22-08 10:50 AM

Oh, I wouldn't.

I figure if I screw something up that is my problem.

I've just found RSRD adds a ton onto the program, and I really like the new features of TM beta.

I know not to ask Duci around here, I don't think he hangs out here much.

dean_acheson 02-22-08 05:01 PM

Lurker, I think that this TMO beta, and I don't know how much Duci is going to change between now and when it ain't beta.

I ran around Midway last night, found the Carrier group, and a couple of downed aviators.

Saved somewhere, haven't rebooted yet.

So far, so good.
