U-47 finishes her 2nd patrol
Hans Stuhldreher, in command of U-47 a type VIIb U-boot successfully finishes his second patrol that started November 2, 1939 and ended December 12, 1939.
In total 61,551 tons of shipping sunk (all single ship encounters no convoys this trip) including: 4 Large Merchants 1 Tug Boat 1 Small Merchant 1 Passenger/Cargo 1 Medium Tanker 1 Small Freighter 1 Medium Cargo Career total now 104,312 tons GWX 2.0, Longer Wakes, Binocs, Dam_texv2, Enhanced Damage effects, English Nav Map and Grid Refs, and Integrated Orders Now on shore leave at Kiel. (Not looking forward to when the "Happy Times" end:huh:) |

Yes, I earned the Iron Cross 2nd class and U-boat War badge. As far as drinks go, np mate let's drink and be merry:smug: for we have a short time before we sail again:up:.
