Introducing the President and.....?

Hypothetical question.

Suppose Hillary Clinton wins the election and gets to take office as the Ptresident of the USA. Now, at the swearing in ceremony, the Chief Justice introduces them to the public as........what?

Normally it would be the President and First Lady.

Is Bill liable to be introduced as the First Gentleman of the United States, or is it more likely that with Hilliary, they'll be introduced as the President and Former President of the United States?

If I recall I think the Iron Lady were introduced as The Prime Minister and the Honorable Mister Dennis Thatcher...but Dennis was never a PM before his wife was.

My guess is that it will be former President, as one retains their highest title until their death. This is the reason that we still call former presidents like Jimmy Carter, HW, and Bill Clinton, "Mr. President." Moreover, First Lady (and/or First Gentleman) is not an official title of the US government.

I think "..and her Main Man" would be appropriate !

Well, hopefully your hypothetical question doesn't happen. There could be a few

President Hillary Clinton, and former president Bill Clinton
Or: President Hillary Clinton, and first ladiesman Bill
Or: President Hillary Clinton, and the Draft Dodger Bill
Or: President Shut Down the Military Hillary, and the man who started it all in the 90's, Bill.
Or: Presidents Billary Clinton. Well, it would be HillBillary Clinton being she is the pres.
Or: President Hillary Clinton and her biotch who leaves evidence all over Bill.

How about a real question?

What if Hillary Clinton doesn't win ... ?

We could say, "Close, but no cigar"

Get it ... Bill took out a cigar when he was President of the United States and ran it up and down his little girlfriends ...
well you get the picture.

"Close, but no cigar" :rotfl:
