Awesome-Looking Game: "Agression Europe: 1914"

This looks sweet. It's not dead, either. IGN has had new screenshots just a month ago (January 15th). They're still trying to tweak it to get exactly what they want. Finally, a cool and more diplomatic game from Buka/Lesta.

Looks neat, and it would seem the Russian invasion into good gaming continues.

Looks good, not often that RTS games involve the gap between the 1800s and 1939

Did they really have Tiger tanks and flamethrowers in WW1 ?

Is this before they dug in for the rest of the war?

This game works in a different manner. It lets you control the way history played out. For instance, you might have an atomic bomb by the late 1930's. You might have a huge force of Tiger tanks in the 1920's heading for a nonexistent war with Russia.

And flamethrowers did exist during World War I. In fact, the Germans used dozens of them in the final days of the Battle of the Argonne Forest. The Tiger tank just follows up the "What-If?" scenario.

Yup looks really really cool.

Matrix Games put a strategic-level World War One title out last summer called 'Guns of August'. Looks fairly complex. There was a time when I would have snapped it up, but I can't seem to find the time to play the macro-level games anymore.

Pity they don't push more games on World War I. I mean, come on people! It's the first modern war in history that utilized land, sea, and most importantly, AIR units.
