PCI-Express x16 video card
Probably of most concern in my getting a new video card is my capacity to play SH4 on it.
Any recommendations? (Thank you in advance!!) |

This is a good reference that takes into account how much you have to spend. |
go for a nvidia card 8800, buying cheap budget cards is not the way forward..
 to play rich intense 3d games |
MSI NX 8800 GT OC 512mb here, works fine...

One thing I've noticed is that Ubisoft doesn't seem to have updated its "supported cards" list since release. I presume more than just what was initially supported is indeed supported?

My Rig:
ASUS P5N32-E SLI Dual core E6700 Cpu 2GB OCZ PC2 8800 (1100Mhz) RAM BFG 8800GTX Graphics card Samsung 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor 1920X1200 native resolution Windows VISTA 32bit |
The answer to your question is YES, SH4 runs great on new cards. 880GTX 768mb, and I get like 60-70 FPS.

Well!
My cheap 7600GT cards worked great! My cheap 7900GS works greater at equivalent performance to the 8600GT without the price tag. I know all about the DX10 thing. Show me something I gotta have.:rotfl:
