save crashes

I am in the middle of a patrol and i have been saving frequently but ive found that after a crash in the chart screen i was unable to continue once i had loaded the save.as soon as i returned to the chart after loading the save i had the same crash.ive had problems with loaded saves crashing befor whicch is why none of the careers last very long.

Try loading the previous save.

When you get a crashed save game the only option is to load a previous one.
I always make a backup of my careers folder and never save while using time compression neither submerged.
Hope this helps.

can you describe the situation you are in when you crash ie, location, near to other ships, submerged etc...

also, what mods are you running, if any.....

no mods installed and on the surface no time compression during save.it crashed on chart view then every time i went to reload it it would crash on chart view.
there seems to be a load save bug attached to this game.

how does one go about making a backup?

Your careers are in the SH3 folder in my documents
Save a copy of the career folder to another location
The game has been known to lose ALL saves so a back up is good
