Crash to Desktop
I've been having numerous CTD 's with SHIV. At first I thought it was only time acceleration related, as I had tried going to the bridge while at 2000x or higher and always crashed when doing so. So I have since been real careful to go back to 1x prior to going to the bridge.
Well last night I had a CTD after playing for 2 hours, I dropped the time acceleration to 1x, clicked on the bridge icon once, waited a second, clicked again and boom, CTD. I have high graphics settings but at only 1024*768, and the sim runs smooth as silk. Any ideas? Thannks all for the suggestions, I'll give it a go when I get home. |
Typically there are three reasons for CTDs in SH4.
Mod conflicts System overheating Background programs running during the game |
I don't know which ones, but i'm sure Foo has said not to use certain skins together. As a rule of thumb, I only ever have one going at one time.

Thanks everyone, I've updated my mods to conform to all teh suggestions above and so far so good!
