NZ first terrorist attack?
 

Just heard on the radio so dont know full story yet, but details so far - A woman has stabbed the pilot of the plane flying from Wellington to Christchurch and threaten to blow up the plane. Plane landed, woman arrested at the scene and bomb experts are investigating...

Way to early. She could just be some psycho on the lose. First thing I thought was Terroists! :hmm: Seriously this will not look good for our prime minister who thinks Muslims are more important than recognising NZ as a christian nation.

I thought it was another thread on a foreign government's PC when reading the topic headline - completely my own fault.

The last four words are a quote by Dido - she said it during the Brixton Academy concert, and the way she said it, it sounded very cute and sexy, that's why I am hooked on that quote, that excited I was. :smug:

She wanted to fly to Australia? What did she think we would do when she arrived? Pat her on the back and say welcome??? I don't think the aircraft would have had the range to make it!

Sounded like some guys who hijacked a jet in Africa and told the pilot to fly to Australia. The Hijackers knew that the plane could fly the distance, but refused to believe the pilot that they didn't have enough fuel aboard. Needless to say the plane ran out of fuel and the pilot had to ditch, about a third of the people survived.
