SOS --My Game won't load
 

Just before the not so long ago appears on the screen, I get an error message an SH3 needs to close.

I'm Using SH3 patched 1.4 GWX 2.0 --no other mods.
Can anyone help?

Has happened to me on 4 different occasions( in 8 missions ) since loading GWX 2.0,:damn: :down: I go back to the previous save and it loads fine. I see it too many more times and i will be heading back to v 1.03

What is up with this? I had this happen to two seperate installs this weekend. At first I suspected a corrupted Scene.dat file, since I had mucked about with it and a new MOD.

Anyway, I ended up deleting two of my installs. Also, my original SH3 patched to 1.4b, was also exhibiting the same behaviour. I ended up de-installing SH3 and re-installing SH3 plus GWX 2.0 along with a backup. Now all is well.

I am pretty sure it's not GWX 2.0 Did you install over a clean SH3 patched to 1.4??

I had it happen once before. I defragged and it worked fine. I wish I knew what the error message is telling me.

Hope its fixed soon. Sounds like a corrupt file to me. I doubt its GWX. A defrag often helps these kind of problems.

If not then a reinstall after a defrag and check disk operation. As im sure you know your war career is proberbly safe although you might need to roll back one and load a previous save. :hmm:

Before reinstalling I would back up all war careers first though.

Either way hope you get your game back in tact as soon as possible.

There are three copys of named dll in your Sh3 folder. One in the root and one in
Support\DetectionTool\SH3DetectionTool EN plus on in SH3DetectionTool DE.
Try to rename the one in the SilentHunterIII root folder and then copy one of the others to the SilentHunterIII root folder.
They are all the same version: 7.10.3052.4.
