well, when i was a lad for excursions like that we paid our way.
t'was common! |
From Australia to Auschwitz? I think that might cost a small fortune! I know the cost of living is a little lower in the land of Oz but come on, this is a little much much to ask for parents to pay for the lot!
Maybe a scheme of the school (tax payer) paying half and the childs parents paying the other half would work. In the UK I would be very proud to see my tax going towards a project such as this...rather than The Millennium Dome (Which now it has been sold is very successful. By the way Labour government, where is my cut of the sale?) |
not to auchwitz... but any other interstate excursions etc.
In fact, i did pay to travel through france for a coupla weeks... |
