Aaargh! Zero renown after a 10,000t patrol
 

Oh woe and misery. Was on an early-war patrol out of Kiel in my trusty IIA when I realised I'd be cutting it too close to make it back home. Stopped off at Wilmshaven for a refuel and, since they'd topped up my supply of torpedoes, decided to mooch back to Dover to see what I could find.

Sunk one troop transporter, one large and one medium cargo ship, returned to Kiel and... ZERO RENOWN.

Is this the way it goes, if one ventures on a 'NUL grid' patrol? :cry:

Strange, you should get renown, medals and promotions, even when operating out of a diferent port.

Go out of game ,rollback commander ,return to office and your renoun should show.

Any of those kills neutrals, perhaps?

Firewall... I dearly wish I'd exercised a smidgen of patience and waited for your suggestion. In my late night, whisky-warmed frustration I deleted the whole career - thus forfeiting hours of my life. Anyone know a good File Recovery program??
