Trust me! When the Jager shows up, its already too late! :D I believe is was designed as cough syrup originally.

A lot of Germans drink it to kill any bacteria in the food they just ate. It seems to kill more than that in ones stomach!

Can you tell I've had first hand experience with this issue? :()1:

More of a tonic. But, yeah, have enough shots and you'll forget your cough too.

Can't say I've had any of the bad experiences that other have. Then again, after 6 shots or so, I've generally had enough and give it a rest.
