I have noticed this in my Pitch testing (built on ROW) - in heavy seas it takes a little bit longer for the boat to pick up speed and rise fully to its normal surfaced level - that can result in the boat temporarily sinking back down slightly, just enough to drop below the depth at which the crew leaves the bridge and it shifts you back down to the control room. It may do this a couple of times before it settles in at full surface height. I remember SH3 doing this in heavy seas as well. It never really bothered me, as in those sorts of seas I'd expect it would take a little longer to get clear of those larger waves than it would the smaller waves in calmer seas. I noticed you can trim a little time off this (but not keep it from happening completely), if you blow ballast on the way up.

Thank you guys,I'll try it again and see what happens...:D

Well no more ideas....:hmm: Doesn't make any difference game crashed last night,so I have to start from scratch again it would be nice to know what to install so the game will run smooth....This is when you REALLY miss a guy when he is gone...

Just looking at your install clay, you don't need most of ROW anymore, Trigger incorporates most of it. Keep the Foam Mod, Clouds and the new add on for ROW. The Special Effects Mod is meant for Stock Zones, your using Trigger, so I am wondering if this may be causing problems.

Hope this helps.

I've noticed similar effects in very heavy seas. Must have hit a couple of Typhoons - Deck Gun could not be manned, and the TBC was underwater. The Sim would switch me back to the control room, but never had a problem with the HUD. Finally gave up and submerged to wait out the storm. All crew seasick. :rotfl:

You might try just installing TM1, 2, 3, and RSRD, then the others one at a time to see what happens. Trouble is, you will have to wait for a Typhoon to really test it out. I think Reallydedpoet is right about ROW not needing to be added. Leave it out on your install (its probably not needed).

OFF TOPIC

Where'd you get all those neat Radio Stations (like Abbott & Costello, Burns & Allen, The Shadow, etc.)? I used the Capt. Midnight, but it never would get past the first episode, so gave up on that one.
