Which version of SH3 is best?

I've learned a lot about Silent Hunter III from this forum and am ready to buy a copy. There are a few versions available at amazon. They are:

SH3 (Software Pyramide) €3,93
SH3 (DVD-ROM) €4,97
SH3 (DVD-ROM) Ubisoft eXclusive €5,73
SH3 Gold Edition (DVD-ROM) Ubisoft eXclusive €7,99

My computer is:

Windows Vista Home Premium
32 bit
NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS graphic card

Could somebady tell me which version would be best for me?

The gold edition includes the two X1 add-ons.

youre gonna buy the best-submersive-addictive sim out there!!!

just get sh3.....and make sure its updated to 1.4
download gwx2.0( or try stock sh3 first to see the massive improvements)

try sh3 commander and the like

I shouldnt bother with the gold edition if you plan on using GWX
The extras you are paying for will be deleted and replaced by the installer ( GWX )

If any of the others have the no dvd as standard then thats a good option
No starforce or messing around with the disc
Oh and later discs are already patched to 1.4 so take note of that

AFAIK there are at least 3 other companies that have released SH3
