An arcade game where you 'pay' the price for crashing! :)

I love it! No more stupid manuvers because if you crash, you get a bruise to go along with it! Concentration and anticipation of your actions becomes paramount! :D

This looks pretty cool...it'd be interesting if they did something similar for flights sims (that was within an average person's budget!).

Lol, the chair would beat Hunter to death when he lands the first time. :rotfl:

What happens if you crash and die?

No no no that title has passed on to Kratos. Maybe we could get him a Goering beater added to it to give him a thick ear and a spit simulator.

Blacklight 01-22-08 03:55 PM

I just showed my wife. She said she would not let me have one.

For me that's quite old news, but it's cool to see that it's making news somewhere else apart from sim racing sites like racesimcentral, where they have their forum.

@Blacklight: I think this thing costs over 10,000$. Sure I'd want one too, but for that price a decent steering wheel (and maybe some time in the future a cockpit) will have to do.

Edit: there are some videos of Petter and Henning Solberg on youtube having some fun with the precedessor and Richard Burns Rally

Realistic crash and injuries at somewhat Higher Cost.

911 EMT Call at no additional cost.:yep:

Why not issue pain instead of sucking up money... like that home-made "Painstation" platform that some geeky guy made (either win or suffer)? Do it right, or enjoy agony.

How about broken limbs?

EDIT:

A bruise is nothing. A burn is something. Add that to the game, and you get really awesome results.

Sonarman 01-22-08 07:03 PM

Flight sims, Driving sims ? hell, imagine crashing through the waves of the North Atlantic!!!

TteFAboB 01-22-08 07:08 PM

Yup, this must be made water-proof, and have water sprinklers attached.
