When will the next episode be broadcasted?
The show is very interesting, I've seen some parts of a similar show at liveleak.com about the british royal marines in training and in Afghanistan it was something like "Commandos on the front line".

I watched the first episode on SKy One earlier this week. Excellent stuff. It is a five part series so another 4 nights of decent tv viewing for a change over the coming weeks. :yep:

I read somewhere the other day (can't remember where) :damn: he said about the experience:

"That's the most effective laxative I've ever experienced"

Im not saying i would be happy but i dont believe in this that while others are fighting a common enemy, others just continue their lives as normal. I know im not too bad of a infantry soldier when it comes to skills. I might think different if i had a family, but at the moment i have no excuses as i believe taking the fight to them. My country should send more troops to Afganistan and engage the enemy. If they did that i would sign up.

Part 4 was on tonight. Excellent again. :yep:

There is one thing I would like to mention from tonights episode. 7th Platoon is interviewd after it lost three of it's men in a blue on blue incident where a US air strike killed three of 7th Platoon's men while in battle against the Taliban. None, absolutely none of the soldiers interviewed over the incident had a bad word to say about the US air support. None of them apportioned blame to the US. "**** happens" and "this is war" were the common lines and they said that without the US air support things would be a hell of a lot worse. It's only the darned media here in the UK, doesn't matter be it the Sun or any other paper, that beat up on the US, so as to try and make it look like they are supporting the British boys. What a load of crap. :nope:

While I'm at it I have to say that I am getting sick and tired of the massive burden that the US, Britain, my Australia, and Canada are taking in Afghanistan. There are quite a few NATO nations that aren't pulling their bloody weight in Afghansitan.

Hi guys. Just thought i'd share with you some videos that I found on youtube, they are about the Royal Anglian regement in Afgan.

This second one is rather somber and shows the real cost of war

My total respect and admiration to all the boys and girls in the British armed forces wherever you are.
