What kind of ship is it?

Look a bit like a Victory if I'm not totally mistaken... but I'm sure its not.

Yes, it's a Liberty.

Thanks for the photos; I really like the view of the rigging. Old-fashioned ships are fascinating to look at.

Now we know why they called them rustbuckets...

The stock liberty looks very different, it seems to be longer and with a lower hull, but I hope that an eventual IABL fix wouldnt delay the release of its Merchant fleet mod.....i risk to became a white-bearded wolf!:D

i'm a bit impatient, i know:up:

Yes, and I am almost certain that the length-width ratio is incorrect, too. This threw off the measurements for almost all of my modded ships, since I started out assuming that the sizes were correct. Still, it is a major improvement over the SH2 Liberty Ship, which looked nothing at all like a Liberty.

It's SS Jeremiah O'Brien

In this photo arrival to London 1994.

Wonderful stuff

I wonder where you guys always find these photos?
How many old wardrobes and cellars have you searched for this ?

AOTD_MadMax 01-18-08 04:46 PM

After i saw this nice pictures from liberty´s, i have try out to rework the liberty in SH3.

In my eyes the SH3 Liberty is not lookin as an liberty ship.
It looks like an pimped C2.
The Bridghouse is to much to the backside of the ship.

So i have taken the Victory and with some smal changes with the mast´s and the funnel and some changes with the draught, this ship looks more like an liberty !

What do you think ?

I need response so tell me pls. what you think !
I Know that the Hullstructure in the bow should be reworked a little bit and the lifeboats have to be added.

Comparing 1:1 with the photos they look as if they are too deep in the water,... all the other stuff look good.
Can you raise it a little bit?
