Nvidia videocard help
My deal here is my videocard driver. When I look at my driver in the device manager for the vid card it shows a driver date of 12/05/2007 yet I'm using or think I'm using the current driver by Nvidia dated this 12/07/2008. What is the deal here? It should show the driver creation date correct?
Keep in mind I deleted my driver for it in add/remove program and loaded the driver again. Still the same date. I then removed the driver via properties of the card in the device manager. Reloaded the newest driver. Still the same date from a year ago. What gives? |
err sometimes windows doesnt like acting normally.. i have that on my xp pro for my ati x1900xt.. so you shouldnt worry.. did u use driver cleaner pro to delete the drivers??

I have not tried that program. I will check it out.

The latest Nvidia driver I believe is 169.21 released on December 19th 2007 I usualy use Driver Cleaner Pro after unistalling Nvidia drivers as the nvidia uninstall program tends to leave a lot of crap behind. |
Actually the latest WHQL is 169.25. The latest beta is 169.28.
