Can I have some tips?
 

I wonder if someone could point me to the following:

1. How can I preserve (save/backup) my carrer as I progress?. I have already mistakenly loaded a prior saved point and lost the following patrols.

2a. Is there a way/patch to avoid having the DVD check at loading of the program?.

2b. Is the whole program loaded into the PC or the program needs the DVD to read various points?.

I am using SH3 v1.4 with GWX v2.

1. The career files are saved in C:\\Documents and Settings 'logged in user'\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\careers. I just backup the whole SH3 folder.

2a. I dont know

2b. You need the DVD to read certain points.

I am running the downloaded version from direct2drive and therefore has no DVD and is nice not having to have one in the drive. I'm sure there is a workaround for it out there someplace..
