min torp firing range

Can anyone tell me what the minimum distance is to fire torpedoes so as to allow the torpedo to arm? I could not find it in the manual. Thanks! Joe S

In the stock game it is 220m for some inexplicable reason.

It should be 400-450 yards (sources vary) for mk14s.

Haven't you seen Hunt for Red October? It's because the Capt has the torpedomen change the settings.:D

tater's righ about this. Tis but one of the reasons mods like TM and RFB have tweaked torpedo.sim files
