Your advice please...
 

Greetings folks.

I uninstalled SH4 shortly after purchase as it just wasn't working out for me. However I recently purchased a new graphics card and figured that it might be worthwhile checking out the game again in full graphics mode.

It's great to see that the modders have been hard at work as usual. I tried to look through some appealing mods however there are so many that it's too hard to chose.

Could you guys offer me some advice for the "essential" mods I should get? Is there a modpack anywhere which incorporates all into a single package?

G'day mate, short answer is not really, but if you download either TM or RFB (either one depending on your personal taste, but only one of them), Reflections on the Water (ROW) and RSRDC for TM or RFB (whichever you choose) you will have one of the deepest (pardon the pun) in depth (yet another....) realistic subsim experiences you can hope to get on a pc, IMHO :arrgh!:
