There are quite a few music mods out there if you search the forum.

I'll be releasing a set of ogg.vorbis format tracks in about a week. http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...ies/pirate.gif

Greetings all..

I'm a new member here but, not that new to SH3. I actually got the game sometime in early '06 or thereabouts. I mostly played it on-and-off because the career mode took so long - I never finished the war. I think I got as far as early 1942 once... Then I either got killed or got the Save Game Bug and lost my career. I wasn't entirely aware of how huge the following for SH3 and SH4 was until I came across this Board. The other Boards I had seen were...sparsely populated.

Of Note: I came across the sound files mentioned above, @ ubrsdlc.realsimulation.com but, could not get a single one to DL. I have no idea how authentic or worthwhile they are. They sound, by description only, to be interesting enough. Too bad I couldn't figure out how to get 'em. Did anyone here have any luck? I tried to find someplace to register to get access but didn't see anything.

Greetings to you retroflow, the site you enquire about is encountering problems partly due to a 'what goes around, comes around' situation. If you wish some files for your Gramaphone, I can send you a link via a PM ?

Thank you, it's great to be here.. :)
I'd be glad to convert MP3s to .ogg.. Ogg Vorbis does in fact seem to work better than MP3s with the Gramophone. I don't have anywhere to host such files away from certain ... erm.. organizations which start with the letter "R".

The files I intend to convert, *ahem*, for my own ;) use in SH3 will be all from 1945, back to at least the mid 1930s. Anything sooner would be sorta' out of place except as part of a larger, older collection of Popular music. Realistically, 1937/38-1945 would be a practical limit in the timeframe. But I'm getting ahead of myself. I haven't converted the files just yet and...well... no one has stated a shared interest yet. So for now...

Aufweidersehn (and thanks!),
