Almost finished 1st patrol without killing crew. Was returning to port and had sunk two ships. Then saw Jan '08 file at top of save game list. Why that should be at the bottom I said to my self. I'll just delete it and resave. All my saves are now gone for that career and since it was the top file the career is dead too.:down:

I would love to get my hands on the guys the came up with the save game code. Now starting new mission.:damn: :damn: :damn:

Personal feeling: each new save should overwrite the last one. One save-game per career.

Wait...what?!? Is there a way to protect your career and saves??? :huh: Please, please, please. What do I do?

Just create a new folder anywhere on your machine outside the SHIII game folder or the 'My Documents' SHIII folder. Then backup the contents of your named career folder into it. Roll back SHIII commander if you use it before you copy/paste the files.
