RFB mod and T.M. mod suggestions
I want to try the RFB mod down the road to see what it is like and i was wondering a few questions first. I play the latest T.M. and it has the 360 degree bearing plotter and nomograph with it already. Does RFB have this in the mod or would i need to download it seperately. Also what are the real differences, is detection and dc attack the same tuffness and all. I know there is no green torpedo line and it has been taken out for realism, is it still possible to add it back in if you want to?. I would just like to know the pros and cons of RFB. I know both are great mods and respect the modders work, but before i go thru all the downloading and JGSM stuff i wanted to know the differences and what people think, thanks all.
Also which one should I download (RFB) file? and ROW,RFB,RSRDC is the order correct? |
Nomograph yes, wiz wheel, no
The mod order is given in the RFB topic. I've been out of the loop since before Christmas, but there will be another update coming out that affects the Ai sensors and sub somar. Luke has already done this, Got the guns destabilized for the update, but not too sure about that yet because of the way the game engine affects it. As for adding the other stuff- you can try if you want to, but the whole point of RFB is to take things closer to reality. If you're happy with the level of reality in TM, then you should stick with it. It seems like you are looking for a cross between TM and RFB. The 2 mods are just different, the pros and cons to them all depend upon what you want out of the game. Something that may be a plus to one person will be something another person doesn't like. |
