[TEC] Speed MOD problem

I'm having trouble with a speed MOD. I toyed with the speed to bump it up to about 25 for both above and below, but it now takes around... 4000 or more yards to come to a stop with I hit all stop. I've also tried installing someone elses mod to adjust speed and it does the same...I've looked around to try and figure out why this is...can someone give me a hand please?

Thank You.

if yer doin 25kts submerged you really shouldnt be to worried
about noise so go ahead and hit all Back Emergency power
to shorten the deceleration curve a bit.

ya gotta remember that physics is part of the model
and an object in motion tends to stay in motion
and an object at rest tends to stay at rest.

Yeah, I've done the emergency back thing, and it does help, but still takes a bit...I was just hoping there was a way I could "change" the physics as you state. Thats what I was looking for in the game...but I didn't find anything that really helped slow you down. The worst part is slowing down from 12 or so knots to 0. The first half of the gauge is fairly quick, but after that, it just drags on and on. :shifty:

Thanks for the advice though. :)

WJB - if you want to slow down fast you have to adjust the drag coefficents for the sub. Or turn - that bleeds off speed quickly without additional noise. However, if thats all you adjust it will cause a loss of top speed or very slow accelleration - so you will also need to adjust the sub's "horsepower" to overcome this. Hope this helps!
