Balz completes 2nd. GWX20 patrol
Lt. Otto Kalb writes:
We left Wilhelmshaven on 3 Feb. 1940 and proceeded via the Fair Isle Passage to BF44. The weather was good. No airplanes nor ships made an appearance. "How are we going to spread terror and destruction if the enemy doesn't cooperate?" Balz kept asking me. "I need another battleship to seal my reputation as a great Teutonic hero." Immediately on arrival at our patrol grid the weather turned nasty. We spotted a passenger/freighter. "Oh, hoochie woochie," Balz hopped up and down on the bridge. "One torpedo for this bastard, only one torpedo. If it doesn't sink with one to hell with him. Einz, zwei, hoochie woochie." Balz took aim on the UZO. "Feuer einz--oh you hochie woochie, pleeze. pleeze sink it." Blam! the torpedo hit near the bow. In fifteen minutes the ship was gone. The weather cleared but the sea remained rough, we left a trail of sunken ships by paralleling the Portuguese coast about 200 kms out. All were spotted while surfaced. "When you are a great navigator you navigate where the enemy is," Balz kept saying. The weather continued to be too rough for the deck gun. We kept making sound contacts and sinking ships off Cape Sao Vicente. "To make to wallahs in Gibraltar shake in their sea boots," Balz said. On 6 March, fed up with the weather, Balz ordered course for Cadiz. We finished our patrol with two torpedoes left. Had sunk 12 ships and a total tonnage of 57,467 BRT. "We'll go into Cadiz drink wine, eat fried sardines and change this blasted weather. We'll sink ships with our deck gun. That's how one accomplishes hoochie woochie." Balz got the IC 1st. and so did I. |
:damn: :damn: I hope Kpt made the Ai harder for our friend Balz

The lyrics are fair...
Must hear the music to be able to judge... But somehow I think he is going to sing it anyway...regardless of how I feel about it.:hmm::yep: |
Looks to me that the great Balz is having problems.......
|
I have space left in my grammophone directory so sent me the D/L link for the hoochie-woochie.ogg file. What makes me think why Balz will not make 1942?

delete both "n" at the end of U-Boote and Flotte.... and it's perfect grammar  :rotfl: ( and maybe you left out the article "der" before "tiefen" ? ) BEANCOUNTERMODE=OFF |
