Clarification; % Mates,I confused.

#1 HULL vs. Mouse-over Damage control team,when darkened ? ie. meaning:hmm:

#2 I have 99% Hull,& no mouse-over %,is it safe to P/D ? this is a quandary:p

The percertage shown is how much damage has been inflicted upon your hull.

For example.

0% means, the hull has 0% damage to it.

a Shell hits, hull is now 10% damaged

Another shell hit, hull is now 20% damaged.

A circular torpedo has hit hull is now 90% damaged! This means only 10% of the hull remains, and im in BIG trouble!

I will try to better explain.Thxs Duci, thats (HULL)

Only 90% for a circle runner:hmm: BTW,The diameter of circle,of the runner is smaller.Since patch 1.4 aiding avoidances,if you are alert,& do back full quickly.:|\\ Always go to attack screen to Ck track for time to maneuver away!

Last patrol Marshall Islands.
#1 There are Shore Battery's,on many of those islands, with quite good range. After taking several hits from two different emplacements on a few islands my hull was at 99%,& I was afraid to dive to P/D. Was this prudent,or would the boat have sunk ? We made for home port.
#2 if Now explain this, there is a percentage shown,by mouse-over of the TXT,DAMAGE CONTROL TEAM in the crew screen. This % will show when the text is darker than normal. Was thought to be Bulkhead damage previously:huh:
So if we show no damage at this screen, will we start flooding,if we go to P/D ? Or,
is Hull Ok for P/D with 01% left ??? Showing no internal leaks.
The nuances of SHIV,are a challenge to understanding, but immerse.
