Technical Problem
 

Hi there. I'm trying to install the 1.4b patch so I can run GWX2.0. However, I get an error message saying it doesn't recognize the version I'm running. Does anyone have a fix? Rad:cry:

There are several patches available; you must use the one relevant to your version. The available versions are US, EMEA [Europe, Middle East, Asia] and download. If you bought your copy in North America, use the US version, and likewise with the other formats.

Thanks for your response. I'll try dowloading the patch again. I thought I did download the US ver. Oh well I'll do it again.

if it doesnt help try downloading some of the other versions, they werent that big i think.

I don't know about the US version, but the European one, UBI had a typo in it - when installing it said 1.1-1.3 but it is in fact 1.4. Thought I'd let you know in case you encounter it with the US version.

US version had the same typo. I bought my copy where I live in Canada, so I use the US patch. It was unnerving at first to see that "1.3" but that's what the forums are for, to learn all those little secrets about the game.
