Observation periscope won't lower

Was playing GWX2 mission "Troopship", and could not get the obs. periscope to stay lowered...it would raise by itself after I would lower it. Is anyone else having this problem? Or could this be.....sabotage?

Never heard of that before, never seen it either, do you have the "malfunctions and sabotage" option on in sh3 commander?

and if so, why would you do so in single mission play?

You've got to see it from the uboat perspective sometimes.
It's out there on it's own for weeks and there are really nice looking troopships out there. With these hot chimneys and sexy anchors and everything.
Uboats are made out of iron, but that doesn't mean they don't have feelings.

Ha! I never gave a thought to the fact that my boat might just be a horny pig! On the other hand, I'm not using SH3 Commander, and I have the same problem with the periscope whether I use the keyboard or the switch on the UI. I'm going to run it again tonight, so I'll see if it was maybe just something strange going on.
