Error with SJ-1 radar dish model

SJ-1 radar dish seen from the front:

And now from the back:

Any way this can be fixed, possibly with S3D?

you have to change the possition of the radar dish

The x y and z possitioning will need to be changed in the proper file.

Not an easy task unless you have some way to see exactly where it is moving to with the changes without having to load and reload the game over and over again.

And that's something I just don't want to do right now... :rotfl:Maybe at some point in the future, but right now...nah.

Not easy work without a 3D view of changes.

I haven't the slightest clue on how to fix this, but if I read leo's suggestion this could technically be done with S3D and an external modeller program. You could try exporting the models, import both to scene, and use the offsets/rotations of the nodes in a 3d editor, figure out the new values and reenter them. I guess it's a bit too much work this way though...

that is how Kapitan_zur-see did his new bubble work for the subs

Used S3D to make the adjustments after seeing the corordinats for them with a 3D viewer program.

And I would need to dig up my old copy of 3D Studio Max for that. Gah! Although, it did allow me to make this for the flight sim IL-2 Sturmovik:
