Gwx 2.0 Ctd

OK, folks the problem is to do with the resupply ship the Bessel, docked alright to pick up eel's then set out but CTD in-counted three times so I rolled my career back to the last time I was in home port all is well now. Date I docked with the Bessel March 24th 1940, by the way docked with the one SE of Greenland and no problem at all.

Just got back from docking with the Bessel. No problems here. At the moment I am not using SH3 Commander though.

Did you DL and apply the SH3 Commander configuration files for GWX 2.0?

Tried it here also without any problems.

As per Kpt question, I hope you installed the second SH3Commander CFG file ;)

Is there any logical reason(s) one would not install all of the .cfg files?

Wilcke 12-19-07 10:39 AM

Just to clarify, the config files as downloaded from the GWX webpage. I did the pre-purchase and installed those from the site into SH3 Commander....correct.

Am I correct in assuming the second file is a replacement for the original one that was available on 12/9?

donw 12-19-07 10:44 AM

there are 4 .cfg files...and they need to be put into the cfg folder of SH3 Commander, and if asked, overwrite whatever is there now. And again, this is ONLY if you have "properly" installed GWX 2.0 on a clean 1.4 patched SH3

No......I am not referring to one of the 4 CFG files, but rather to the entire file.

Just prior to public release there was a need to replace the initial proposed CFG file.

Then I think I had better go get them again...I beleive I am using the ones that were released in the beginning of the donation period

If I remember correctly, since I'm not at home, only 1 of the 4 files have been modified (see date/time), so actually you can just extract the one and everything should be fine FYI, or if you feel better just extract them all. :know:

The shipnames.cfg has changed.

Jimbuna 12-19-07 04:39 PM

The only file that was changed was this one:

http://files.filefront.com/GWX+20+Cf.../fileinfo.html

It is doubtful many received it....:hmm:

Jimbuna
I am currently saved, surfaced "somewhere in the Atlantic" Is it safe to put those 4 files into Cmdr now...or should it be done only in port?

For STEED
Sorry for hijacking your thread mate, but we are also waiting to hear if you used the CMDR .cfg's "AND" if you have the latest ones?

CapZap1970 12-19-07 04:52 PM

Jim, is it ok if I d/l the file from that link? is that the good one?
Thanks a lot

I would go back to port, perform an SH3 Commander 'rollback', delete the original CFG then enable the latest one.
