Incorrect difficulty level??
 

Hi all.

Just want a bit of advice.
When I set the difficulty level in the options menu and click apply, I do not get the same levels when I start a fresh campagn??
I start a new campagn but on the "create a campagn" section there isnt a tab for a "custom" difficulty level?
What am I doing wrong??

The settings for a career are set in the office using the options icon (Radio) to the left of the Desk.

The radio is on a book shelf to the left of your desk in the 'office' of carrier mode.

I had a hard time finding the radio, for several weeks! Got very confused by all the posts giving the advice to set options with the "Radio".

I was running SH4 at 1920X1200, still am. When playing around with various Resolutions such as 1600X1200 and others, I suddenly could see the radio. At certain Resolutions, the 'view' of the Captain's office cuts off the sides, so you dont see the radio at all. However, if you move your cursor to the extreme left of that bookshelf, the "Options" hint will appear over the leftmost bookedge and you can click to get to your options.

That is the cause of the "radio" versus "book" confusion in setting options in career.

I could barely see it.
Im running at standard 1280x1024 (could do with a bigger monitor).
