S-Boats = T.A.R.D.I.S. (Dr. Who fans will understand)
Is it just me or does the command room of the S-Boat seem spacious and roomy? Yet it is the smallest sub in the fleet!
Have the Philly Project boys managed to shift dimensions when retro-fitting the S-Boat. Or has the good Doctor shared some Galliferian technology with the USN! It just seems much larger on the inside than on the outside. . |
I niticed this too, but not sure that the S-boat had dobble hull. That the with on the outside is almost the same inside.....And if you see the boat from strait in the front, is it circular or oval?:)

Trans-dimensional engineering, a key Time Lord discovery. :yep:

look in the link above on the s-class boats there are a few inside photos of the s-boats. they look quite spacious. |
Oh, it's pics of s-boats...I thought that were pics of Doctor Who and the TARDIS. No need to see...ehehheh Kidding....:p

I think the point about the empty S boat interior is that there was nothing it, ie no equipment to speak of they were as basic as you can get.
|
Looks to me the S-boat was actually quite wide. Since it is not a double hull boat, what you see outside, is what you get inside.
It seems these boats were quite prone to getting sunk by friendly boats. |
I love the S-boats Im glad the devs included them in the end.
My first SH4 Kill was in an S-boat, I took out an aircraft) with the deckgun - I went to man the AA gun but quickly realised i didnt have one, but i still go the sucker - quite jammy i thought :D |
