AVG Update error
 

Hi, for those using AVG, it doesn't seem to matter how many times I install this when I go to update this is the following error:

Anyone have any ideas?

I just updated mine to see if I would get the same error and I didn't. A reinstall may be the only fix... You probably got a corrupted download.

It all seems to run ok till I do an update, downloads then errors! Wierd, Have reinstalled a number of times but same thing, I might have to download a new install file as you suggest.:yep:

Edit: Just found the problem, when I uninstalled I checked to keep settings, when I unchecked this & installed I can now update, must have had a register problem or something. Thanks.

Glad you figured it out Reece. And to those extolling Avast? Yep--that's a good one to! I haven't seen problems with either AVG or Avast. I've made a bucket-load of money from people with Norton and McAfee problems though :rock:
