GAME: Your Predictions for 2008!
 

Wanted to quickly get a leg on the saddle and shove off SubSim into the new year (still 29 days away, lol) with a proper, "BON VOYAGE!" call.

Simply post what you think will happen next year. I'm not going to at the moment, because I'm heading off to a meeting with our local sailing group.

I predict that STEED will make a list of predictions. :cool:

Well, if you want a dead pool prediction for 2008, Amy Winehouse has got to be a favourite, she's going to cark it for sure.

There will be a major hostage situation / bombing / other mass crime in Russia late
March or early April.

Labour will win the UK elections again. Poor Lib Dem gains will start another leardership change.

There will be some sort of election in the United States.....and Geroge W Bush will not be the next president! That my inner eye has told me!:p ;)

The New England Patriots will win the Super Bowl. Haven't really thought about 2008 past that.

Oh yeah, and my crystal ball has me agreeing with Biggles. ;)

If I was you Torplexed I would get down to the betting shop and put a heck of a lot of money on it. ;) :D :lol:

Positive expectations:

I will quit my current warehouse job or get fired before the house closes, whatever happens first.

I will break through the 10.000 postings barrier.

I will enjoy another SBP addon.


Negative expectations:

Money will be less worth than it is now. Well, that leaves me with more time I have for myself instead of chasing around shopping, so actually it might be something good. :)

I will be one year closer to death. Slightly narrowed time window to suffer from disease, high age, loneliness and attending other people's funerals, so actually that might be something positive as well.:D


So a correction: no negative expectations over here at all :p

I will find a girl that likes me in a romantic way.....

1. PC Madness will increase and the cost of living will still go up
2. Petrol will keep rising and spark off protests
3. Possible terror attack in the UK
4. Change of job
5. More cock up's by my Government
6. More stealth Tax's
7. More strange weather in the UK
8. Next year's local elections will see another swing toward the Tories
9. I will buy ten things from amazon
10. Channel 4 will never show new Simpson's episodes

Rest of the world

1. America will go further in the red effecting most country's
2. World oil prices will continual to rise unchecked
3. Still no solution in Iraq
4. Iran and North Korea bang there big sticks again
5. China and India will continual to see growth in there economy's

SubSims

1. Skybird and Letum will continual to disagree
2. Five topics will be very heated and closed in the GT Forum
3. Neal will be elected man of the year
4. I will break in to the 10,000 posts
5. jim will create more Gif's and swamp out the boards
6. Chock will declare he is a cool dude
7. Sailor Steve will get 15,000 posts
8. GWX 2.0 will boost the membership here on SubSims
