Underwater Fog
lo all
have posted a couple o times about the underwater density in sh3 gwx1.03 i would like the option of re-using the stock sh3 underwater clarity...currently i have set this to "20" in sh3 commander....but still feel this is slightly darker somehow could i swap the "scene.dat" file in gwx with the original stock one...would this revert to original and work with gwx???...and where would i get it ...is it on my sh3 stock game cd???:hmm: |
Not advisable Kaleun :nope:
20 is actually a fraction clearer than stock IMO :arrgh!: |
not to change the subject but it does deal with the water. on the surface i see what appears to be darker blue mask that is fixed on the screen in regular areas that does not appear to be actually a part of the water but just a mask. is there any way to get rid of this.... i use stock SH3 with mods and some changes i made my self.

Could you post a screen shot?
Plus any mods added and what you did yourself. It helps greatly in helping us, help you, help yourself. Does that help? :rotfl: |
yeah ill try to post a screen shot later as i don't have a screen shot of SH3 at night time and thats when you can really see it good is at night on the surface, as for what i have changed has mainly been with the shipping and getting warships from SH4 more involved in the SH3 campaign and adding cargo to cargo ships of SH4 so they don't look so empty on deck.

ok hopefully you can see these good, if you can see out on top of the water there is dark spots or shadows in the middle of the pics out on the water.
the only thing I'm using i can think of that effects the water is the improved wave textures.is it part of that mod. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...dy2500/np2.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...dy2500/np1.jpg |
I'm afraid I can't see what you mean by the pictures you posted, but are the darker areas not because of the break in moonlight due to overhead clouds? :hmm:
