My First (real) Patrol In GWX

well, i put real because i have another campaign, and its not doing all that good, 90,000 tonns after 9 patrols?! better than none.

but i started over, U-35 VIIB out of flotilla saltzwedel

sailed out of base comforatbly, then i sailed up the coast of britain, not too close not too far.

bam, tramp steamer off the port bow, used the deck gun, and sank it.
weather gets a little worse, but i can still use the deck gun
another tramp steamer. i sank it with the deck gun and 1 torpedo (i finally said screw it and plugged her)
finished patrol square AM52, head in between britain and other unidentifiable chunk of land.
sink passenger/cargo with 2 torpedoes. she snak liek a rock.
not satisfied with 3,000 tons, i decide to pay loch ewe a visit.
i sail in, and spot a modern medium tanker, british.
rohr eins los!
rohr zewi los!
i set the torps deep to explode under its keel. the first did, the other caught the keel and bounced off....as well as the next three i fired :damn:

i finally said screw it (which i must say a lot) and surfaced (its 00:00) and went at it with the deck gun.
the cheers, shes going down, i submerge, and leave.

i teleported home when i was in open ocean again

Patrol results
Crew losses: 0
Ships sunk: 4
Aircraft destroyed: 0
Patrol tonage: 16261 tons

Hi!

You think 90,000 tons after nine patrols is bad? 10,000 more tons and you get the Ritterkreuz! There are plenty enough U-boat commanders who didn't get to say that (let alone survive 9 patrols)!

Are you doing manual targeting?
